Hi,
I recently took a new internet connection from my local cable operator.He has
configured Win98 and set up the gateway as a proxy server too.
I tried setting up my Slack 8 box with the same settings as in Win98 (ip
add,netmask etc), but I keep gettting the same error:
SIOADDRT:Network unreachable.
How does one configure linux to use a proxy server at boot time?
Am I missing something really obvious out here?
Could someone please point me in the right dircetion?
