that I was discussing. Well I am not miss any DNS name
I want to connect two commuters. One is configured as domain controller with
windows 2000 Active directory with domain name "milkyway.net" { hay there is
no space
or wrong my server works very well ;-) }
with IP add 198.165.10.2 same DNS address "milkyway.net"
and second is with mandrake 8.1.
Tell me how I will connect two PCs
Tell with the simple language with proper instructions with striate method
OR Tell me how I will configure Linux as a samba server with peer-to peer
model
in the simple sets of instructions.
I want to thanks satya, Phillip and others but name was DNS name or FPQN is
not my problem
My problem is that I don't know how to configure this two machines properly.
How to's and books are on this topic are too bulky to use.
just tell me method as practically you have do it.
You are diverted the subject that I am talking forgot about DNS
configurations .
