hello folks, Attended the Intel Developer Forum today at Taj regent..quite a good show with the Intel CTO Pat Gelsinger around. There were demos on the wireless network(802.11b) front, and a good talk and demo on the Hyper-threading feature of the Itanium processors. Do chk out something called "Banias" - its cool! There were some talks on best practices for using multi-processor systems. Got to know about OpenMP amd MPI - two API's for enabling ur apps to use clustered systems.
