How do i find out how many clock cycles ( basically how much time, in seconds the processor is actually spending on a piece of code ) the processor is using. i have used clock() at a few place both in linux and dos, how does i change this to true time.. in seconds. Normally CLOCK_TICKS_CONSTANT or somthing is fixed to 1e6. how is this related to the processor clock speed Whats the significance.
