edit ur /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
file
add GATEWAY="0.0.0.0"
it will automatically find out ur default gateway
"setup" doesnot allow u to set the gateway as 0.0.0.0
or *.*.*.*
setup only allows u to set a gateway whose ip address
belongs to ur subnet
say if ur ip address is 192.168.*.*
it wont allow u to set ur gateway as 202.*.*.*
manually editing the file helps
