Hi Anybody ever heard of a bug in tar program ?
I have two versions of tar. In this version --exclude-from FILE works perfect. 150796 Aug 27 2001 /bin/tar [ls -l /bin/tar] Where as in this version --exclude-from FILE doesn't work 138016 Oct 11 1999 /bin/tar [ls -l /bin/tar] How can I see which version of tar I am using ?
