hello luggers, this is regarding my previous mail in which i had sadly informed that we could not hold a workshop in Vivekanand engg. coll. for the PRAXIS festival. i had also said that we could instead have a workshop on behalf of IEEE. i talked to a person in IEEE vesit chapter today, and he said that there's a *bombay level* symposium coming up in probably 2nd week of april. we could have a gnu/Linux workshop during the sympo. he said that since the sympo is bombay level, there will be a very good response, and that the no. of people (both students and professionals) wil be large. we could have a stall for selling cds, etc. if we are willing to pay them some money. the exact amount will be decided by them if we are willing to pay them.
