Hello,
        I guess what you mean here is that you have not been able to
configure your modem. If you dont hear the dial tone, most probably you
configured it wrongly. If it is that, then, probably u need to
search for suitable driver files online. You shud look for the FCC
number of your modem, search for the drivers for that chipset and install
them, and then u shud be all set.
