Wine requires a decent configuration. but if you consider not using it, then
the choice depends on
1. the number of clients you are going to support. (If the clients are less
than 100, you might be able to use even a p166 with 64mb of ram.)
2. If the clients will be solely relying on server for data requirement, you
need a machine with better i/o susbsystem. cheapest solution is newer
machine (p3+) with udma based subsystem. although scsi and other things are
recommended for REAL load.
