this is a Queer Problem,
        Difficult to get to the root of the problem without more information, Which 
Distro are you using. ????

My best guess, and it is only really a calculated guess, is that for some 
reason, vmalloc related functions do not seem to be defined / ( or compiled 
in ) 
what statments are you using for memory allocation ?? Maybe you could try 
using some other ( standard malloc ?? ) and see .

the error includes "_R0657d037" which to me seems to point to the error having 
something related to the kernel. 

Perhaps you have unwittingly made your module dependent on another which is 
not compiled  (or active ?) in your kernel.

BTW : which gcc ?
