Use xfontsel to select the font with the appropriate
size, then copy that and start xterm -fn "selected
font".
If you use Window Maker ( or for that matter kde or
gnome ) just point a keyboard shortcut to this
command. U could even change the default xterm to
start in this enlarged font-mode.
