Yes, you guessed it right. Even if the config is an exact match... differences in BIOS settings can make lilo do things like you said. > Plz suggest me solution I need my system working try if this works... 1. Attach HDD as primary master 2. Boot using a CD (linux)... in rescue mode or load Knoppix 3. drop to a root shell 4. mount your Gnu/Linux on some directory 5.
