Rajeev has been quite an active member among the Banglore Gnu Linux community. He was involved with nurturing students on various Gnu-Linxu related projects.
Incase you do need assistance to reach VJTI i am sure you could hitch a ride with any one of us. Also, Karunakar/prakash who is your colleague at netcore should be able to help you out.
