I have 2 intel celeron CPU with 810e board with avance codec.
I am facing a problem in RH 9.I use KDE.
My problem is that XMMS gives a error :
Please check that
1. You have the correct output plugin selected
2. No other programs is blocking the soundcard
3. Your soundcard is configured properly.I get this error only for the first 60-120 sec after booting to KDE.After that I get this error only if some other application such as VMware is working(although sound card is disabled in VMWare). Rest of the time the sound card works perfectly.
I dont get any such errors on RH 7.3.
In MPlayer also i get similar error but still the sound card works only the volume control of Mplayer does not work.
PLEASE HELP....
