Hello, I am trying to setup an email server in my office premises. I want to setup a server which can receive mails for a domain like the following one( giving only the format not the exact one since it is not yet decided): [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
basically its the second subdomain which is changing along with user name, rest of the other things remains same. I have a static IP with me which is yet to be registered for the domain name. Since I am new to this task and don't know how to go about it. Though I have read from a site www.dyndns.org, and they suggest that the static IP should be on the hostname host1.domain.com for above example. Am I right in understanding that? Also please let me know the step by step process of how to go about it, including how to request for the MX and A records settings. Thanks in advance, Ashwin -- ASHWIN S.
