Hi Linuxers, I am new to Red Hat Linux 9, i have an fresh installation, my problem is that i want to change the hostname of my choice, i have tried going to /etc/sysconfig/network and try changing, but it doesn't work.
Somebody said me to give the command "declare" and to check the environment variable "$HOSTNAME", i got my mistake, but now i want to change the variable value permanently, how do i do it.
