When you are refering to the standard C++ distribtion, I believe you are
refering to libstdc++ shipped with GCC.
I did look here -> http://gcc.gnu.org/libstdc++/ but wasn't able get much
info. also googling did not help much.
can you mail me a pointer to the networking library/ location where u got
this info??
