I m using knoppix-cd on one comp and fedora on other comp. I use nfs to mount partitions on my fedora comp to knoppix. but nfs mounting which takes only fraction of seconds in fedora/redhat 9 takes about 5-10 minutes in knoppix and once mounted it works just fine.. I had started services nfs-common nfs-kernel and portmap on knoppix I have also tried stopping firewall on fedora but same problem. Please Help... Regards, Chirag
