Try this 

 Boot System with MEM=110M and hope everything will work fine .

Tells Linux to only use 110M (of the available ram. Usually,you can get away with 
picking a number slightly less than 
the actual amount of RAM in the system. 
Other people have reported success with MEM=230 on a 256M system and MEM=496M on a 
512M system. 
Often, reporting the correct number (MEM=512M on a 512M system) will work.
