Hi, I've been a Pacenet user for more than a year and had given up trying to connect through 'rp-pppoe'.However, after the discussion that took place on this list a few days ago, I decided to try again. Using <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, I can connect & the connection shows up as ppp0 in 'ifconfig -a'.However, I cannot ping any IP addresses and connect to any web-sites outside the local net.Same problem in Slack 9 as well as FC1. In WinXP, I setup a dial-up connection that uses <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> as the username.Using this, I can successfully connect without the Pacenet dialer. Any suggestions as to what I should try?
