Hey luggers, I have successfully compiled a GNU toolcha= in from scratch. My host platform is an i686 and the target I'm developing = for is an i386.
Thanks to Chetan S for actually repyling to my= persistent and annoying mails. There is one more thing. All t= he tutorials , softwatres and web-sites available for building an Embedded = Linux system from scratch actually use third party packages such as a Busy-= Box, TinyLogin, etc to build the system. I;'m trying to do it = without their help. So after building the GNU toolchain, I mn trying to con= struct the basic root filesystem (in its embedded form....that is ver= y important) and then configuration of the kernel and the boot loader. I'm = googling around a lot, but its difficult to find any web-site or mailing li= st which can help me build the basic root filesystem withour Busybox and Ti nyLogin.
