Hello Arun, I could manage to work my modem by using the command wvdialconf : Even you can try this :-
wvdialconf detects your modem, its maximum baud rate, and a good ini-tialization string. An exit status of 0 means that a modem was detected. You can also check its help for set up of configuration file. If it's winmodem, RH9 does not detects the modem.
