I took a quick look at the Xandros site, and found that Xandros Disk Burner, which is apparently what the orginal poster referred to, is a feature of the Xandros File Manager, which is a proprietary addon. However, Linux has always had free (as in freedom) CD burners since cdrecord and its GUI front ends xcdroast and the Gnome and KDE analogues. And now Nautilus too has CD burning capabilities built in, so I fail to see the need for any proprietary closed source software costing $$$ for this task. I've used xcdroast for years now for all manners of things including mission critical backups, and have not had a problem yet.
