hmmm, typical Indian "IT manager" thinking. Yes, please be offended, I
mean it.
Those custom applications built for Windows can also be built for
Linux/BSD systems. Only thing is that you have to invest in getting
them developed. Sometimes there is no need for going into a new
system/platform when the present system fulfils your requirements.
Business applications are customised, so you can't have a
"one-size-fits-all" thing.
