Ontrack (http://www.ontrack.com) are supposed to be one of the heavyweights in
data recovery. One of their products is Easy Recovery Pro 6.04. Unfortunately it
doesn't recognise any ext2/3 partitions and list them as 'unknown partitions'.
ERP6 works like a charm on FAT16/32 & NTFS. I am using it these days to recover a
fat32 partition that is in a soup similar to that of Trevor's.
