Very high latency, and low bandwidth utilisation with even moderate number of users connected or distance beyond 25 mtrs (i have done some bit of testing). I prefer to carry a cross & straight cable any day (most offices have a lan point within reach). The 11G thingy is anything but standard for now. Wireless lan is great for experiments with mobile voice apps etc.- not daily use. Me thinks it will be 2 yrs before wireless lans become reliable and useful.By then the current crop of peripherals will be hazardous pollutants. However 11g on a point to point link over a distance of a few kilometers is very good - 4 to 24 Mbps.
