Hi All, I installed debian sarge on my PC today, and suddenly I discovered a lot of new problems.
1. I am not able to dial the internet using kppp, it connects and says pppd died (return code 1) 2. wvdial "cannot detect dialtone", although I can clearly hear it from the modem. 3. x server does not start up. It does _not_ throw an error, however the screen blanks out, but the frequency is _not_ out of range(the monitor does _not_ blink).
The modem and X was working fine until the morning, when I was using FC2.
Can anybody help?
