Installed the Xandros 3.0 on a KDS Valiant P3 600 Mhz and it worked like a
charm.
Only had to mount the usb filesystem manually once and the 6 in 1 card reader
became plug n play.
Problem is when installing the same OS on a desktop Cel 1.7, 256 MB, Intel 845
Board, After the initial CD reading it reaches the "detecting hardware" stage at
which point the machine shuts down it seems as i get the "Sync out of range"
message on the monitor. Then machine needs to be restarted. Any clues why this
should happen?
unplugged all external devices just in case that was creating a problem, but to
no avail.
FC4 was installed following that without any issues.
Any clues?
