 Dear Vickram, 
 
        You have to define where is your /boot directory is it kept 
in a seperate partition or is with the root partition, if kept 
seperate use your redhat bootable cd , at boot prompt type linux 
rescue and then type chroot /mnt/sysimage, then type in grub-install 
--recheck /dev/hdax (the partition no. of /boot) at the prompt. 
        Restart your machine
