Try Real VNC....! U can run it on a particular port...! Fire up ur web browser at office and u could get ur X-Window session....! Available for both Windows and Unices
Real VNC is free and can be downloaded at http://www.realvnc.com/download.html
if you just want to access the files try Samba web client http://smbwebclient.sourceforge.net/
