Hi, We are trying to Migrate Open VMS 7.1 to Linux. Following are installed on VMS Server -- Operating System --Open VMS AXP Programming Lang -- ANSI C DECMessageQ for Internal and external communication Oracle 7.3.2 RDBMS relatioal database DECNet Communication Software OSI layer based comunication software for SINEC- H1 BUS Oracle SQL*Net RDBMS network interface software.
We Installed Linux and installed Oracle 10g on it. we had taken export from 7.3.2 database and impoted to New database. We can able to communicate with Client forms v4.5 but we are not able to do the DECMEssageQ. Applications are written in PROC to get data from PLC through telegrams to DECMessageQ mailbox and from there to Oracle Database. Any body has faced this kind of situation?
