Bash shell. home directory is /home/user/ This is my home machine. On logging remotely from work it worked fine for root. For user it is logged in but gave this message before taking me in. ls/usr/X11R6/bin/xauth: timeout in locking authority file /home/user/.Xauthority no disk space issues. [EMAIL PROTECTED] emacs .bashrc X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication. Connection lost to X server `localhost:10.0' even now I am logged in remotely as the user. but X startup seems to be giving problems.. still trying to fix it without mass deleting or deleting user account. -abhi __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
