TCS (or one of the tata avtars) contibuted major parts of a sip gateway 
which is part of the vovida project.
Wipro have their names listed as linux developers for TI's omap 
processors. Naturally. If they had to do something under any prop 
toolchain they would be debugging for the next 100 yrs.
But overall the big boys using their age old tactics which is waiting 
for the grubs to bioform the biz environs, then stroll in with some 
fancy brouchers and laugh all the way to the bank (at the expense of 
most banks).
