Thanks, I guessed as much after posting the query.  The site is down as
I am composing this message (19:04)). It is notorious for going offline,
at times for extended periods.  My modem is on 24x7, however the entries
in my report show a lot more login sessions than the two I initiate
around 00:00 and 08:00; I'll play it safe and trust cron to reboot the
modem.

Yup, "Download Bytes..." reported to the 15th decimal place.  Until I
saw this report I was not aware that one could transfer fractions of a
byte and that too up to the 15th decimal place!
