Thanks very much for the link. I only need to confirm one thing. I am
not going to run two graphics cards, so I guesss I won't need to use the
SLI technology which is meant for 2 identical graphics cards. There are
other PCI express slots on the mobo too, like x1 and x4.
Can I safely insert the Decklink Extreme card into the smaller x1 or x4
slots as the Decklink site says? and at the same time use the main PCI
express slot in x16 mode for the graphics card? My only worry is about
damaging the cards which cost about 60K each. After giving full
assurances for tech. support, my supplier is getting cold feet on the
tech. front especially for the Decklink card.
