sorry my mistake din read the subject properly... in red hat u have a hard ware browser that can tell u the device file that is assigned to ur pendrive ... so u can do mount -t auto /dev/devfile /mnt/ Puneet -- http://mm.ilug-bom.org.in/mailman/listinfo/linuxers
