Hello all, Remember me? If you're an admin you must be wondering how in the world did this guy get off moderation? It was simple. I was waiting and watching if some sense prevailed on your part but unfortunately not. Anyway, this email isn't to insult anybody. It is a polite reminder that please do not mess around just because you have been given the power here. It can be just as easily be taken away / circumvented :)
I was unjustly shut up on this list for having my opinions. Some stranger insulted me and I stood up for myself. Thats all I did. I was referenced in several threads and I merely replied to them and I'm shut up which is incredibly stupid and has encroached on my rights as an individual. This is an open forum and you cannot shut me up. It is a violation of my freedom of speech and expression. If you shut me up then you have to shut everyone else up who referenced me. Other people too were involved in blatant name calling and acted as proxies. That was a low, unprofessional thing to do. I did not see any action being taken against them. I believe you've misused your power as admins or you've used them in ignorance which is pretty much the same thing. None of you actually followed the threads that I was attacked in or know what really happened. Mr.Dinesh Shah / linuxer-owners did not respond to my emails and no amount of reasoning showed you guys the irrationality of your decisions. I have been and admin & moderator on several forums. I've been in such situations. The reasonable thing to do is warn all members and put *all* of them on moderation. Singling one out of the many is wrong. If anybody should've been punished, it was the person who provoked the whole flame war. Lastly, to all who are / were / will be in a position of authority.
