Dear All, I am new to linux and am using a Linpus Linux Lite which uses a desktop version.
I was wanting to install AVG antivirus. Is it necessary? When I tried to install it it asked for the administrator password, which I dont have. I tried to use Terminal to install it but it wanted me to login as root. I couldnt as I did not have the password. I am using an acer aspire one notebk. Anybody can help.
