The IPTV ( currently, STILL a disaster that can be corrected ) system uses a tiny box that acts as a Linux thin client and boots from the exchange server. The same can be modified with appropriate software/firmware, a keyboard and mouse and it becomes a poor man's computer that runs on the telly. A simple rental of Rs. 100/month with storage space on the server is all thats needed.
