Hi Neelesh, I have tested Centos 5 32 bit on AMD Opteron recently, and found it to be working well. However, I had some problems getting Xen to work on it for virtualising a Windows server on the same box. So long as you are installing an OS directly on the bare metal, you should have no problems with it. You will need to consider an Inventec or Iwill server motherboard, as those are the only brands I found in the assembled server market for AMD.
