Well, we're always looking for contributions in ayttm, but it's mostly
in C, so that probably would not match your skill set.

Go to http://sourceforge.net and get an account there. It's a perfect
place to start contributing to FOSS projects. The idea is to pick up
any application that interests you and see if you can improve it or
find and fix any bug in it. Post patches in that project. There,
you're a contributor.
