I had reported problem of grub rescue on two machines earlier. Gladly that
has been solved completely in one of my two machines.
However on the second one, somehow my USB CDROM is not recognised. So I
tried to create a USB stick. I could do so very well.
However when I use this on the PC, the cursor gets stuck on prompts as this

Apart from each time I tried to use USB disk creator in 9.10, it failed to
create a disk. Did same on 9.04 and it worked fine, so must be something to
do with the first cuts of Karmic, which I am sure will be ironed out after a
few weeks. 8.10 and 9.04 created USB startup disks just fine.

Any clue?
