I've heard Toshibas run OpenSolaris with all the bells and whistles. I guess
the situation for GNU/Linux will be even better.
Don't buy Dell. We've had lots of problems with Dell in almost every office we
operate in. Faulty power capacitors. More at NYT (link below)
