Hi Binad,
I verified all the things but was not able to find a single entry which
states ipv6 is enabled
i checked
/etc/sysconfig/network
/etc/modprob.conf

I googled to check how to disable as i am using RHEL4AS as my OS it was
given to modify few entries in /etc/modprob.conf but i am not able to find
any to modify it.
The command which you have mentioned is it safe to run as i am working on
critical production servers.
Please suggest
