This is what I was planning to do.  The videos will be helpful to
execute the procedure!.  The dental floss is a great idea, I had not
thought about it.

absolutely not.   This kind of potion leaves a sticky film when the
alcohol has evaporated!

yup.  It is also called rubbing alcohol.   I was a bit hesitant to
immerse the cpu in rubbing alcohol but I will follow the videos in
your link.
