Debian packaging is easy provided one is able to read the document. If
package(s) are not aimed to upload to Debian repositories, it is easy
to ignore lots of advices given in the documentation on debian.org.
Currently, best start is to install 'packaging-dev' and look at it.
#debian-mentors, #debian on OFTC can help if needed.
it is a document preparation tool that i wish to get packaged.
and yes, i am looking to have that package be part of the debian
repository.
