Hi all!

Yes, they forgot to do the usual clean-up! And this time its really
great for us!!!

The A1200E kernel source release on opensource.motorola.com contains a
lot of stuff they didnt really want to release, im just starting to look
at it now, but so far i found:

1. E6 source code
2. Unrelease/unknown phones source code
3. A1600 source code
4. pcap_test.c with all that we ever wanted to know about pcap!
5. Probably more..

Go and download it FAST!

Nice find.
And everything interesting has a GPL header attached which means its hard for Moto to come back and say later on "dont use/distribute that" (only bits labeled "motorola confidential" seem to be for a driver for a Marvel WLAN SB8383 SDIO chip)

Interesting that A1600 is running a 2.4 kernel, that suggests (as is highly likely) that A1600 was developed by a different group inside Motorola than the guys developing for MOTOMAGX (quite possibly Motorola China given the distribution of these phones) which would also explain why they didnt take as much care to make sure all hardware they used in it had drivers they could GPL.

BTW, does anyone know which code names (Barbados, Hainan, Macau etc) match to which phones?
