I am getting errors like: "_machine already defined", etc. when I try to compile the kernel (2.4.1 with fsmlabs patch) with modules enabled. I did a search through the archive, and noted that this problem occured in the past, and that there was a patch for the 2.2 series. Is anyone compiling their kernel with modules enabled successfully? I couldn't find any recent reports on the list regarding this.
