hi,all I compiled linux-2.6.12 for mpc8540 with DENX eldk4.0, my plabtform is custom mpc8540 board, mb86296 video card, eldk4.0 ppc_85xx file sysytem. Accelerated driver is x11_mb86290 offered by DENX . I compiled XFree86 4.3.0, then I ran startx, the screen was black for a few seconds and it turned to text mode.
