No, with proper HW support (DSA switch) we aren't bridging all the
traffic in the kernel.  Instead, the HW switches all the frames except
the PTP frames.  These are forwarded to the management CPU for
processing in the PTP stack.  So the residence time should stay
constant in a real application.
